Lawyer Kay Bacchus Selected By NDP WSG Council

Lawyer Kay Bacchus-Baptiste has been chosen as the candidate to represent the New Democratic Party in the West St George Constituency.

Bacchus-Baptiste who was chosen by the party’s constituency council will seek political office when general elections are called in 2021.

The veteran lawyer is replacing Dr Jules Ferdinand, who ran on the party’s ticket in 2015, he was defeated by the ULP candidate Ces Mckie.

Her selection now has to be ratified by the party’s Central Committee, which is expected by the end of September.

Bacchus Browne in the past has done legal work for the New Democratic Party and has often been engaged in Pro Bono work and Human Rights issues.
