On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, as part of the hot pepper training programme, Hot Pepper Specialist, Luke Lee facilitated a hands-on field demonstration on a farm establishment at Perseverance Road in Dickson.
Members of the Ministry of Agriculture and farmers were guided through key activities such as land preparation, proper spacing techniques, and planting holes for the transplanting of seedlings.
On Wednesday, March 25, an in-house training session on hot pepper production was conducted for members of the Ministry of Agriculture at the Orange Hill Biotechnology Centre Training Room.
This mission forms part of the project “Building Effective Public-Private Partnerships for Production and Marketing of Sustainable Agricultural Products” and is being jointly executed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Transformation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations.
