Nigel Regisford who was on the run from police following a dispute with Sanjay Mapp, which left her hospitalised, was apprehended by law enforcement.
Mapp was rushed to the MCMH for urgent medical attention after sustaining chop wounds on Tuesday 5th of September, 2017.
Regisford was taken into custody on Thursday of last week and appeared at the Biabou Magistrate Court on Friday where he was charged for attempted murder.
It is reported that Mapp received two chop wounds on her right hand which took about 16 stitches, she is still a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, according to the latest report.
The matter was transferred to Serious Offences Court, where it will be heard on Monday 11th September 2017.
