Cricket West Indies is currently exploring a strategic partnership with China to facilitate the construction of a state-of-the-art High-Performance Center in Antigua.

This landmark project aims to centralize the organization’s operations while providing elite training facilities for player development and sports science.

During official discussions, representatives considered how Chinese expertise and resources could assist in the design, material procurement, and building of the new campus.

The collaboration also opens doors for global cricket expansion, potentially allowing Chinese athletes to utilize the facility for their own professional growth.

This initiative is a primary component of the regional governing body’s long-term vision to modernize infrastructure and maintain excellence in Caribbean cricket.

The partnership reflects a commitment to international cooperation as a means to strengthen the sport’s future both locally and worldwide.
