A right ischemic stroke was the cause of death for 61-year-old Selwyn Joseph, a post-mortem examination has revealed. Mr. Joseph, also known as “Millie,” was a resident of Hamilton, Bequia, and had been missing since Wednesday, June 25, 2026.
The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force provided an official update stating that the examination, conducted on Thursday, July 9, 2026, found no evidence of foul play in connection with his death.
Mr. Joseph had originally gone missing after leaving the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital while he was receiving medical attention.
After a public search, his body was discovered on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at approximately 11:10 a.m. in a bushy area located below Fort Charlotte in Edinboro. Police officers at the scene reported that a close relative later provided a positive identification
