The RoseGold Foundation, a private foundation established in 2023, has announced this year’s seven recipients of its scholarship fund. This initiative will support students making the crucial transition to secondary school in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, helping to alleviate financial obstacles in order to further their education.
Working collaboratively with school principals and local contacts, the Foundation identified deserving students from primary schools across the nation. It targeted potential student applicants who demonstrated a commitment to their academic journey and who will be awarded the scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year.
This year’s seven scholarship recipients are:
- Javorne Brown (GS), Lowmans Windward
- Am-Unique Christopher (GHS), Chapmans Village
- Kay-Elle Davis (GHS), Fountain
- Seymourah Grant (GHS), South Rivers
- Naomi Thomas (TS), Mesopotamia
- Micah Welcome (GS), Queens Drive
- Saarah Williams (GHS), Largo Heights
Two one-time disbursements will be made to:
- Chrisron Adams (SM), Bellevue
- Abrielle’ Ralph (TS), Diamond
The scholarship winners will be presented the award at an event scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026, 12pm, at La Vue Boutique Hotel. The scholarship requires students to uphold a GPA of 75% or higher, an attendance rate above 80% and a discipline record free of violations.
Past awardees in 2023 were Malique Baptiste (TS), Ashanta Jacobs (SJCK), Brielle Robertson (GHS), and Gianna Stapleton (TS). In 2024, Alexandria Badenock (GHS), Kaydee Mars (GHS), Abigail Williams (SJCM) and Keshorne Williams were awarded scholarships.
Meanwhile, RoseGold Foundation is an official registered non-profit in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Foundation enthusiastically welcomes local donations to bolster its mission.
RoseGold Foundation was founded by Ronaele Rose and David Goldstein, of Los Angeles, California. Ms. Rose, born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, moved to the United States as a young child, and has maintained a strong connection to the nation, further solidified by her father’s current residence there.
She said: “Education has always been of utmost importance in my life and, together with my husband, we hope to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these beautiful, smart and motivated children in St. Vincent.”
