A student at CW Prescod Primary School in Kingstown on Friday, sustained severe trauma following what has been deemed for now, an accidental trip.
While running on the school grounds, the child fell and suffered a significant forehead injury.
Local emergency responders quickly transported the victim to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for urgent medical attention.
