SVG ESTABLISHES RELATIONS WITH THE TOGOLESE REPUBLIC
On Monday 21 September 2026, the Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, attended a bilateral meeting with the Togolese Republic’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Robert Dussey, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
During the bilateral meeting, the Foreign Ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish diplomatic relations between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Togolese Republic.
The establishment of diplomatic relations marks a new chapter in relations between two nations, providing a foundation for strengthened cooperation and collaboration in advancing shared interests on the international stage.
The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines welcomes the establishment of diplomatic relations between Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Togolese Republic and looks forward to deepening bilateral cooperation and strengthening ties between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
