Tropical waves and unstable atmospheric conditions are projected to increase the chance for shower and thunderstorm activity across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) by late Thursday.
According to the 72-hour weather outlook released at 12 noon on September 22nd, 2026, by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (prepared by Forecaster Joan Mc Donald), these tropical waves will trigger a transition toward wetter and cloudier conditions as the week progresses.
In addition to the incoming tropical wave activity, patches of Saharan dust are expected to drift across the island chain starting Wednesday, September 23rd.
The dust presence is likely to cause slight to moderate haze, which could occasionally reduce visibility and air quality across the islands.
There are currently no weather or marine advisories/warnings issued for SVG during this period.
