‘Optionz ENT’ YT channel faces deletion over carnival content

Popular Vincentian culture and media channel Optionz ENT has been officially demonetized by YouTube over flagged carnival coverage, leaving the platform at risk of permanent deletion and forcing an immediate suspension of all new video releases.

In a direct address to subscribers, the content creator announced that YouTube flagged several carnival videos for alleged violations concerning nudity and sexual content. Despite the demonetization status, the platform has continued to classify the material as non-compliant, creating a high probability that the entire channel could be deleted in the coming weeks.

To mitigate the enforcement action, the creator revealed that they have already removed a major portion of their video catalog, including top-performing uploads that had generated millions of views. The decision follows consultations with another creator whose channel was similarly flagged and ultimately removed by YouTube.

An official appeal date has been set for December 27. However, the creator confirmed that Optionz ENT will release no further content for the remainder of the year. Furthermore, if YouTube ultimately deletes the account, the creator stated there are no plans to start a replacement channel.

Describing the situation as a severe setback, the creator extended gratitude to long-time viewers, roadside supporters, and community followers who have backed the platform over the years.
