The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) has issued an advisory following the recent passage of a Tropical Wave, notifying the public that several communities continue to face intermittent or complete water supply disruptions.
Although initial restoration efforts had commenced on affected systems, subsequent assessments revealed multiple breaks within the distribution networks of three key water supply systems: Dalaway, Majorca, and Montreal. As a result, full water service has not yet been restored to the communities served by these networks.
CWSA emphasized that while restoration crews are actively working on repairs, the affected systems remain in a vulnerable state. Ongoing unstable environmental conditions continue to cause additional damage across the water distribution network, prolonging full system recovery.
To support affected residents, water distribution trucks will continue to serve impacted communities while repair efforts are underway.
The Authority has requested that customers in the affected areas exercise patience and, where possible, activate their household water storage plans to help manage ongoing disruptions.
In its statement, the CWSA expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the service interruptions and thanked the public for its understanding and patience.
