HAIRDRESSER CHARGED WITH WOUNDING
On October 24, 2026, police arrested and charged Antoinette Nero, a 23-year-old hairdresser of Sandy Bay, with the offence of wounding.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded an 18-year-old resident of the same address by striking her in the face with a slipper.
The offence was committed in Sandy Bay on December 7, 2025. Nero was granted station bail in the sum of $2,000.00 ECC with one surety. She is expected to appear before the Georgetown Magistrate Court on November 3, 2026, to answer the charge.
