Representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean States, the OECS, and CARICOM/CARIFORUM paid an official courtesy call on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, to the Honourable Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs, and Ambassador Kevin Hope, Chairman of Invest SVG.
The visiting EU delegation was represented by Mr. Quentin Peignaux and Ms. Katja De Sadeleer. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines officials accompanying Minister Bramble and Ambassador Hope included Permanent Secretary Mrs. Sandy Peters-Phillips and Director of Foreign Policy Mrs. Charmin Tapin-John.
During the high-level engagement, both sides engaged in constructive dialogue focused on key areas of mutual interest, notably investment opportunities, renewable energy, and digital and maritime connectivity.
The Ministry emphasized its ongoing commitment to active collaboration with the European Union to deepen diplomatic relations, enhance bilateral cooperation, and advance sustainable development and economic prosperity across the nation.
