The interaction of an upper-level trough system and a tropical wave is expected to generate pockets of moderate to heavy showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms across St. Vincent and the Grenadines tonight, with a likely increase in intensity into tomorrow.
Consequently, a Flood-Watch is now in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and will remain in effect until further notice.
Rainfall accumulations of up to 75mm {3 inches} are likely with isolated higher amounts possible over mountainous areas.
Residents and motorists in flood-prone areas, areas prone to land slippage, near rivers and streams should continue to exercise caution and remain alert.
NOTE: A Flood-Watch is issued when conditions are favourable. It does not mean that flooding will occur but that it is possible.
