On Sunday afternoon, December 10th, Rotary Club of St. Vincent South and friends of Rotary South willingly volunteered their time and finances to paint the refurbished garden furniture at the pediatric ward of the M.Cato Memorial Hospital.
The Rotary South had recently donated picnic tables and refurbished the older seats previously constructed there.
The pediatric garden was transformed in fluorescent colours of pink, lime green and orange which produced smiles all around from passersby and children alike.
The garden now is a cheerful refuge for those convalescing at the hospital, and will bring a little comfort and Christmas cheer to those there during this Christmas season and beyond.
Rotary South continues its commitment to community projects by providing assistance where needed, and by trying to improve the lives of the less fortunate and disadvantaged.
