The Argyle International Airport (AIA) Inc. hereby informs the public that AIA is not responsible for the delays in a carrier’s schedule; including Amerijet. Amerijet’s fluctuating arrival times have resulted in escalating delays over the last couple of months.
As recent as today December 20, 2017, AIA facilitated Amerijet’s request for an arrival at 12:00 am (midnight). Despite existing contractual obligations, AIA modified its ground handling shift system in an effort to accommodate Amerijet’s arrival.
However, Amerijet once again cancelled this midnight slot, with no new times for operating being confirmed by Amerijet to date.
AIA takes this opportunity to reiterate that all flight operation is scheduled and planned as agreed with each carrier.
AIA is dedicated to satisfying its stakeholders wherever possible and trusts that Amerijet will be able to meet the needs of its customers during this extremely busy season; as AIA has always stood ready to meet all its carriers’ needs.
While AIA did not specify what claims they were referring too, a post by Journalist Jerry George on his Facebook wall may have triggered such response.
