The Ministry of Tourism, Sports, and Culture in collaboration with the SVG Teachers’ Co-operative Credit Union Ltd will host a media launch of the Secondary School Bands Showcase next week.
The launch will take place on February 20th, 2018 at the Peace Memorial Hall at 10:00 a.m.
The Secondary School Bands Showcase will be held under the theme “Bringing a Modern Approach to Music Education” and is part of continuing efforts to develop the Creative and Cultural Industry in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Showcase aims to provide an opportunity for secondary students to participate in the live music art form, create early interest in the Arts and to pave the way forward for future bands and musicians.
Twelve bands from Secondary Schools throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines will participate in the Showcase scheduled for Saturday 24th March, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
