News784 was reliably informed that a former SVG police officer was found dead this morning on the grounds of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York.
He has been identified as Brian Simon who hails from the village of Diamonds.
The New York Police Department says officers responding to a call at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park found a man lying in a wooded area, News784 was told that he went missing last Thursday.
He was unconscious and unresponsive, and officers saw no signs of obvious trauma.
Emergency services responded to the scene and pronounced him dead, authorities said the individual was 49 years old.
The cause of death will be determined by the city medical examiner’s office.
