Man Charged $2500 For Unlawful And Malicious Wounding

A fine of $2,500.00 was on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 handed down upon 27 years old Jomarley Parris a labourer from the community of Campden Park, charged with unlawful and malicious wounding upon 33 years of Ronnie David an employee of Vinlec and resident of the same on September 30th, 2017.

Parris was ordered to pay the fine by June 29th, 2018, in default an eighteen months jail sentence will be imposed.

Magistrate Rickie Burnett also advised David to seek compensation at the Civil Court for his injuries sustained.

The sentence was handed down after Parris was convicted on the charges.
David is said to have had wounds to the face, shoulder and left wrist on the date in question during a fracas that developed into an altercation at the public road at Campden Park.
