Minister of Health Wellness and the Environment Honorable Luke Browne participated in the Inter-American Conference on Social Security Fifth Extraordinary General Assembly.
The conference saw some 200 persons participating from more than 30 countries which took place in Cancun, Mexico.
Minister Browne was able to participate in several working meetings which included panels with experts from various health, financial and social security institutions.
While there he was also able to participate in the launch of the new technological tools for strengthening social security training that the Inter-American Center for Social Security studies is currently offering to all of its members.
This tool will ease the need for members to travel to Mexico to receive training and promises to make training more available throughout the region.
