The North Windward Carnival Development Committee will host various events from May 25 –July 14, 2018.
The official launch of Windward Carnival 2018 will take place on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 7:00 pm in Georgetown.
Performances will come from Fireman Hooper, Skinny Fabulous, Luta, Rodney Small, Flanka, Skarpyan, Maddzart, Mason, Alla G, Tajoe, Keido, Twixx, Jace, Recka, Stoppalus, Riverside Boys, Pyne, Young Tal, Jah Brimstone, Prince Swade, Verjal, Rus-T among others.
The contestants of the Miss Windward 2018 beauty pageant will make their first official appearance. The contestants in the Miss Windward 2018 beauty pageant are:
- Italia Andrews – Miss North Union
- Sabrina Browne – Miss Chapmans
- Wallicia Browne – Miss Georgetown
- Deantai Davis – Miss Biabou
- Shafiker Hector – Miss New Grounds
- Nicole Stephens – Miss Magum
