The management of the Philo’s Filling Station, located in Upper Questelles, is soliciting the public’s support for a former employee who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Miss Barbara Selby who was employed for thirteen years at Philo’s Filling Station has been diagnosed with cancer and now is unable to walk.

Management told News784 that she is scheduled to have corrective surgery in the South American nation of Guyana.

The management of Philo’s Filling Station said they have teamed up with persons in the South Leeward Community, to spearhead a barbeque/fundraiser to offset the cost of travel, surgery and the recovery process.

This Barbeque is planned for Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 12 noon at Club Dzia located opposite the Philo’s Filling Station in Questelles.

Persons willing to make contributions to the cause of Barbara Shelby, can contact Wendell Phillips at 433-1094 or Zonell Carter at 531-3636 for further information.
