Joanna ‘Nubian Princess’ Christopher placed 1st runner-up in the Regional Female Calypso competition in St Kitts on Tuesday 2^nd August 2018.

Stacey Sobers of Trinidad and Tobago took the top spot and has been declared the new Regional Queen of Queens.

“I am blessed that in my first competition outside of Trinidad I have won the favour of judges and the crowd,” Sobers told Loop online.

Other participants hailed from US Virgin Islands, St Kitts/Nevis, St Vincent and Barbados.
