Lawyer for Veron Primus says that her client’s rights were violated when local police allowed law enforcement authorities from the NYPD to interrogate  client.

One media house is reporting that lawyer Michaela Ambrose as saying that Primus informed investigators from the NYPD that he had a lawyer, but was still interviewed, without his lawyer being present.

It is not clear why the NYPD investigators  were allowed to interview Primus without his lawyer being present, and it is also not clear if whatever statement he gave was recorded via video.

Primus is said to be a person of interest in a 10-year-old murder of a top High School student in the USA.
