(NEWS784.COM) – Prime Minister Gonsalves said their meeting with the top leadership of Carnival Corporation and The Royal Caribbean Cruise lines was very successful.
On Tuesday 18th September 2018 a delegation from the Carnival Corporation & PLC (Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines) led by Mr Arnold Donald President and CEO met with PM Gonsalves and other Officials while on a multi-island tour to Caribbean destinations.
Gonsalves said several ideas came forward including investments in tourism-related projects, and more calls to Kingstown and the Grenadines.
Discussions also took place on having more Vincentians being employed with the cruise line.
Gonsalves further said that government officials shared with the delegation their plans about port development in Kingstown.
The object of the tour was to meet and learn about SVG as a destination and to get feedback from stakeholders.
