Police arrested and charged Iso Lynch, 37-year-old labourer of Layou for Deception and Impersonating a Police Officer, on 28th September 2018.
According to investigations, on 30th October 2017 about 10:30 p.m. at Biabou, Lynch defrauded a 60-year-old Building Inspector of Biabou by falsely presenting himself as a police officer.
Lynch was also charged for deceiving the Building Contractor and dishonestly obtaining EC$2,000.00 from him with the intention of permanently depriving him of it.
Lynch is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court to answer the charge.
