Vincentian Student Among Those Injured In US Accident

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a man was killed on Saturday night when a vehicle driven by Trinidadian Mickel Ravello.

The police said  several Caribbean students were also injured during the accident.

According to the report Ravello failed to yield to a second vehicle travelling southbound, which struck the front right of Ravello’s vehicle.

4 passengers were travelling in Ravello vehicle including Vincentian Tevin Slater 24, Mylz Barrington, 20, Conrad Dalton, 18, and Reuel Tyson, 20

Reuel Tyson, 20 was pronounced dead at the scene. Conrad, Ravello and Slater’s injuries are all listed as moderate, while Barrington is listed as serious.

Passengers from the second vehicle Christina Green and Joshua Green all received serious injuries.

According to Jefferson College’s men’s soccer athletic roster, Ravello and his passengers are members of the college’s soccer team.

Mylz, Ravello and Tyson are transfer students from Trinidad and Tobago Slater is from St. Vincent and the Grenadines while Dalton is from St Louis.
