After almost four years of court battle over the validity of the North Windward and Central Leeward seats won by the Unity Labour Party,  the petitions brought to the court by the St Vincent opposition party were dismissed.

The petitions were seeking to ascertain whether or not the North Windward and Central Leeward seats were duly won by the Governing Unity Labour Party headed by fourth term Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

On Thursday 21st March, 2019  Justice Stanley John in delivering his Judgement dismissed the petitions.

The Court declares that Montgomery Daniel and Louis Straker have been validly returned as duly elected representatives in the 2015 elections.
