Within its second year of operation, the Modern Medical and Diagnostic Centre has added to the services offered at the facility.
On 7th. Aug 2020, the Blood Bank with Mobile Unit was launched with the theme” Safe Blood Saves Lives” at a Blood Donation Drive.
Voluntary donors from all blood types can now donate blood which will be stored and readily available at the facility when needed.
Certificates of recognition were awarded to persons including Gregory Ferrari who was instrumental in establishing the mobile blood unit.
There were remarks from Kamarla Questelles Senior Lab Technologist; Elliot Samuel Chief Lab Technologist; Minister Luke Browne and Prime Minister Gonsalves.
