Vincentians can look forward to investments from the Asian country of Vietnam once the NDP government is elected to power, this according to NDP’s candidate for East Kingstown in the 2020 elections Fitz Bramble.

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum.

Bramble says that he has met with several billionaires from the Asian nation on visits he made there during November of 2019.

With garment companies seeing orders slashed and other sectors hit with sudden export declines, Vietnam’s workers are enduring the downside of being tethered to the global economy.

The number of billionaires in Vietnam reduced by one from last year to four on Forbes magazine’s 2020 list of the world’s richest people.
