Vincentians are now paying between $2.00 and $10.00 more for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) more commonly known as cooking gas.

Rise In LPG

The price increase became effective from Thursday 1st, September, the price for the 100-pound cylinder increased to $149.94 in zones one, two and three, and to $170.94 in zone four.

The 25-pound cylinder now costs $37.49 in zone one, $38.39 in zone two, $39.49 in zone three and $42.49 in zone four; while the 20-pound cylinder is retailing at $31.00 in zone one, $32.00 in zone two, $33.00 in zone three and $36.00 in zone four.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Consumer Affairs, Nathaniel Williams said, the Ministry has put steps in place to make sure that resellers of stick to the correct price set by the Government.
