Commuters travelling in and out of capital Kingstown can now do so more comfortably.
This follows the completion of repair work on Richmond Hill/Murray’s roads by BRAGSA.
Communication Officer of BRAGSA, Mr. Rohan Cupid says the project saw the resurfacing of 1892 feet of road from Sally’s Spring to the Bus Stop at Murray’s Village gap.
Mr Cupid says 662 tons of asphalt was used on the project.
He says the project was done at an estimated cost of 629-thousand EC dollars and is part of the 19.5 million EC dollars Road Rehabilitation Programme being carried out by BRAGSA for 2020.
The programme commenced in January and is expected to cover approximately 211 roads throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
