St. Vincent and the Grenadines Public Service Union (PSU) has advised nurses at the Paget Farm Health Clinic to relocate to the Port Elizabeth Hospital in Bequia.

According to media release from the PSU, “earth movements have shifted the foundation of the facility and, as a consequence, portions of the building have separated from each other.”

The union says that the matter has been reported to the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) as well as the Ministry of Health and the Environment on more than one occasion but the union says no corrective action has been taken.

The Public Service Union in its official release said that it is very much concerned about the well being and safety of their workers and would make every effort to safeguard them.
