It has been observed that some of the evacuees and other persons are taking illicit substances into the designated shelters across the country.
In light of this, the general public is hereby notified to desist from carrying out this practice with immediate effect.
Any person(s) found in breach of this order will be prosecuted by law.
NEMO on Tuesday said eighty-five shelters with more than 3,782 occupants are now activated. Registration of persons who have sought shelter with family and friends is ongoing.
