A Second Person May Be Charged In relation To Theft At SVG Postal Corp

As investigations into the theft of EC$75,000 from the SVG Postal Corporation continues, another person may also be charged.

Sources told News784, that along with the individual who works for the state, two other individuals are under surveillance in the said matter.

While the source did disclose names to News784, this publication would not release such at this time.

On 9^th July, Police Constable 196 Ettian Charles, was arrested and charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and theft, in relation to EC$75,000 in cash stolen from St.Vincent and the Grenadines Postal Cooperation.

That incident occurred between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on 07.07.2017, according to a report from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.

Charles was taken before the courts on Wednesday 12^th July 2017 and was remanded in custody until a bail hearing on July 19th.
