Pastor Felix Agustin Jack of Mableton, GA entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2019. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 1, 2019, at 1:00 PM at the Pillars Of Faith Seventh-Day Adventist Church 3220 Bouldercrest Rd, Ellenwood, GA 30294. Viewing from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
Pastor Felix Agustin Jack was born on April 13, 1971, to Catherine Jack and Edward Gibson (deceased) and was raised in Belmont, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
He attended the Belmont Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) where he was spiritually nurtured and given the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
As he matured he served the Belmont SDA church in many capacities including the leadership role as the first Elder. He obtained his primary education from the Belmont Elementary School from 1976 to 1985 and his secondary education from Mountain View Adventist Academy from 1985 to 1989.
He spent the early years of his career, from 1992 to 1996 serving as a teacher at the Richland Park SDA Elementary School in Richland Park, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
With the cognizance that God has a calling on his life from a boy, in the fall of 1996 he matriculated at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) in Trinidad and Tobago where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in the year 2000, and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies at Newbold College, UK in 2006.
Subsequent to his graduation from USC, Pastor Felix Jack accepted a call from the East Caribbean Conference of SDA and was assigned to serve as an intern in the Roseau district in the Commonwealth of Dominica on September 1, 2000.
It was while serving in Dominica that he was granted favour from the Lord in the person of the lovely Emma Williams. They wedded on August 5, 2002 and the union produced two wonderful children: Felesha and Eron Jack.
Pastor Jack migrated to the United Kingdom 2004. While there he accepted a call from the North England Conference of SDA where he served as Pastor in the Blackburn, Bolton and Bury Fishpool church district and would later serve the Preston and Blackpool district.
The manifestation of the call of God on his life was recognized by the church, consequently, in 2006 he was ordained to the gospel ministry by the North England Conference of SDA. At the conference session of 2008, he was elected to serve as the Director for Family and Children’s Ministries.
Pastor Jack and the family returned to Dominica in August of 2010 and for seven years he served with excellence the churches of, Portsmouth, Bourne, Beryl, Du Blanc, Penville, Capuchin and Antioch and was also the Island Coordinator.
In August of, 2017, he was elected to serve as Ministerial Secretary and Trust Services Coordinator for the East Caribbean Conference of SDA. He served with distinction until his passing.
