- AiA Welcomes Vincentian Football Prodigy Saviola Blake to Venture Sports USA Partnership
Athletes in Action W.I. is elated to mark a historic milestone as we proudly welcome Saviola Blake, the exceptionally talented footballer, as our first signing under the esteemed partnership with Venture Sports USA.
Saviola Blake, a rising star hailing from Diamonds Village, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has earned numerous accolades throughout his impressive career, including being part of the All Mannings Team in 2022 at Jamaica College and winning the Best Midfielder Award with Sparta FC in 2022. His skills on the field extend beyond his achievements, demonstrating versatility in defensive and offensive play.
In Saviola’s own words, “I am currently specializing in midfield responsibilities, requiring delaying, channelization, acting as the 1st and 2nd defender, tackling and counterattacking. I am skilled in techniques such as passing, dribbling, off-the-ball movement to support teammates, goal scoring from inside and outside the box, heading, slide tackling and shielding. I am skilled with both right and left feet, a high-intensity player with excellent timing and anticipation, positioning and a deep understanding of the game.”
His exceptional leadership qualities make Saviola an invaluable addition to any team. As part of the CFU U14-winning Vincentian national team in 2018 and contributing to Jamaica College’s Manning Cup and Champions Cup victories in 2022, Saviola Blake has consistently demonstrated a take-charge mentality.
This collaboration with Venture Sports USA opens doors for Saviola to explore guaranteed scholarship opportunities in the United States, showcasing the immense potential and talent present in our Vincentian athletes.
