Air Canada Ends Schedule Service April 14th

Air Canada Rouge which began its winter service to St Vincent in December of 2017 will terminate that service on April 14th the end of its Winter Schedule.

Air Canada Rouge currently does a scheduled Thursday flight into Argyle Airport from Pearson International in Toronto.

Minister of Tourism Cecil Mckee speaking on the radio last week said that in Principal the airline has already committed to the 2018/2019 winter service.

“ In principle, they have already committed to the winter season, November, December into April of 2019, when they end in April Sunwing will pick up the slack right up to September 2018”.

“ So folks for carnival coming from Canada can rest assured that you will have flights for the festival”.

Mckee said based on discussions that they have had and the demand they have seen, they are expected to have flights all year round for 2018.

Caribbean airlines would begin JFK –SVG service on March 14th, while American Airline would enter the market with a Miami – SVG service beginning September of 2018.
