An aircraft belonging to One Caribbean which came in from Trinidad around 4.45pm, and which made a successful landing apparently developed issues while departing for Trinidad.
The aircraft which brought in a Vincentian contingent from Carifesta was making preparation for taking off when it came to a sudden stop.
According to information, the aircraft crew was immediately assisted by the fire service and airport security.
It is not clear what may have caused the sudden stop of the aircraft, we were reliably told however no one was injured.
The aircraft was on its way to Trinidad for overnighting during the passage of the storm.
