Following the successful release of Jemere Morgan’s uplifting single “Know Better,” Ghetto Youths International is proud to announce the official rollout of the No Better Riddim, a dynamic reggae compilation and juggling package produced by Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley.
Built around the same musical foundation as Jemere Morgan’s acclaimed single, the No Better Riddim embraces the rich Jamaican tradition of juggling projects, bringing together multiple artists to interpret the same riddim through their own unique stories, melodies, and perspectives. The project serves as both a meaningful standalone compilation and a strategic extension of the original single campaign, allowing each artist to contribute their own voice while strengthening the collective impact of the riddim.
The next chapter of the No Better Riddim arrives on June 12 with two standout additions from some of reggae’s most celebrated voices.
Reggae songstress Alaine returns with “Love Again,” a soulful and uplifting ballad produced by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. Showcasing the singer at her finest, the record explores the endurance and transformative power of true love over a warm modern one-drop reggae groove. As one of the featured tracks from the No Better Riddim, “Love Again” delivers the signature blend of romance, melody, and authenticity that has made Alaine a favorite among reggae audiences worldwide. With its universal message and contemporary reggae-R&B sensibility, the single is poised to resonate strongly with female listeners and lovers of modern Caribbean music alike.
Joining the release is acclaimed reggae vocalist Pressure Busspipe with “So Amazing,” another standout contribution to the Damian Marley-produced riddim. Widely celebrated for his ability to blend roots reggae with heartfelt lovers’ rock, Pressure serenades women across the globe in his unmistakable style, reminiscent of fan favorites such as “Love and Affection.” Driven by rich melodies, island warmth, and uplifting lyrics, “So Amazing” further demonstrates the versatility of the No Better Riddim while reinforcing the compilation’s broad appeal among reggae and reggae-fusion audiences.
Together, the releases build upon the momentum established by Jemere Morgan’s “Know Better” while showcasing the musical diversity that defines the No Better Riddim project. Blending contemporary reggae, lovers rock, and R&B influences, the compilation is designed to connect with multiple generations of listeners across the Caribbean and around the world.
Produced by Damian Marley, the riddim blends authentic roots reggae instrumentation with a contemporary sonic approach, creating a foundation that allows each artist’s individuality to shine while maintaining a cohesive listening experience throughout the compilation.
The complete No Better Riddim compilation will continue rolling out through June 2026, further expanding the project’s reach across streaming platforms, radio, selector culture, and reggae communities worldwide.
As the project unfolds, listeners can expect a collection of songs rooted in love, positivity, self-reflection, and conscious storytelling, hallmarks of the Ghetto Youths International catalog and the enduring legacy of reggae music.
Additional releases from the No Better Riddim compilation will be unveiled in the coming weeks leading up to the full project release.
