On Thursday, February 24th, 2022, police arrested and charged Asorda Bennett of Rillan Hill with the offences of Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm and Possession of Unlicensed Ammunition.
According to investigations, on 24.02.22 at about 7:41 pm at Pembroke, the Accused was allegedly met with one (1) 9mm pistol and three (3) rounds of 9mm ammunition in his possession without a license issued under the Firearms Act.
The Accused appeared before the Serious Offences Court on 28.2.22 to answer the charges and plead not guilty. Bail was granted in the sum of twelve thousand dollars with one surety. The matter was adjourned to March 22, 2022.
