Assessment For 34 Million Dollar Road Program Begins

Surveyors working for the Kuwait Fund is currently in the state to assess the ground work done by the Ministry Transport and works.

A 34 Million Dollar road repair program financed by the Kuwait Fund is expected to begin by the next quarter

Senator Julian Francis on Tuesday night said the Ministry had done drawings and equations for the project and the visiting team will verify such work.

Francis said that by Mid October it is expected that significant work would start in the form of  Secondary and Agriculture roads.

A total of 90 Million Dollars is projected to be spent on road repairs throughout the state.
