Police at the Criminal Investigation Unit are currently carrying out an investigation into an attempted burglary and damaged to property which reportedly occurred on the building that houses the Cl’s Pharmacy on the road to Leeward on Friday, September 22nd, 2017.
Reports are that on the date in question a senior employee of the pharmacy secured the building before he left.
On the morning of the next day while at home he is said to have received the call stating that the pharmacy appeared to have been broken into.
When he arrived on the scene it was discovered that one of the glass doors were smashed. However, entry was not gained due to the burglar bars which secured the door.
The estimated cost of the damaged door is not yet know.
