AUTHORITIES SEEKING TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION FOR STUDENTS IN CANOUAN.

1 Min Read

One of the Directors of Grenadines Affairs, Edwin Snagg, says that work is being carried out on the Canouan Government School and that the authorities are seeking a property to temporarily place students in while rectifying the school’s building.

Snagg made his comments on radio, after it was pointed out that he took a different view to Canouan activist, Terry Bynoe, who used his Facebook page to ask parents to keep their children away from school, since the building was unsafe.

Pictures emerged on Facebook showing Grade 6 students being taught outside the school and Byone is claiming that the building is unsafe and that a slight earthquake can cause damage and possible casualties.
