A delegation from Barbados will soon visit St Vincent and the Grenadines as that country moves towards Medicinal Cannabis.
This county’s Agriculture Minister Saboto Caesar says Barbados Minister of Agriculture Indar Weir will lead the delegation.
He said the Barbadian team will visit the tissue culture lab at Orange Hill along with a national tour.
Weir will meet with technicians in the ministry of Agriculture and also with the Rastafarian groups across the country.
Caesar says the medicinal cannabis authority will be run by the Medicinal Cannabis Authority, and is expected to be operationalized by the end of this week.
He says that 10-15 persons are expected to be employed with operation at its initial stages, along with expertise from the Ministry of Agriculture.
