Two Persons Fatally Shot in Belair, One Hospitalised
Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the area known as George Gutter, Belair, during the night of Friday, January 16, 2026.
Preliminary reports indicate that police received information of multiple gunshots being heard at a bar in the area. Responding officers later discovered that Anil Greaves, a 22-year-old vendor of Belair, had sustained gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical practitioner.
Two other persons, Quinn Greaves, 23, and Shamar Bulze, 24, both of Belair, were also injured during the incident and were transported to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. Quinn Greaves later succumbed to his injuries, while Shamar Bulze is listed in stable condition.
Post-mortem examinations are expected to be conducted at a later date. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force extends condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this tragic incident.
