According to 7News Belize, Jasmine Hartin, Lord Ashcroft’s daughter-in-law, is expected to be charged on Monday 31st May, in San Pedro Magistrate’s court, Belize.

Sources suggest Hartin could be charged with manslaughter in what she has characterized as the accidental shooting of Superintendent Henry Jemmott.

7News Belize in a post on Sunday night said the investigation file examining the shooting death of Superintendent Henry Jemmott has been passed on to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Cheryl Lynn Vidal, who will now decide what charge will be brought against Hartin.

Reports out of Belize say Hartin has told police in a statement that it was an accidental shooting.

The 32-year-old Canadian mother of two is expected to be represented by senior counsel Godfrey Smith, he according to reports is acting for a British Queens Counsel.
