Belmont Resident Survives, After Being Shot In The Face

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which left a Belmont resident hospitalized over the weekend.

Police told News784 that Dameon Delpesche was shot in the face. Police also told News784 that investigations so far revealed that Delpesche was awoken by an open window.

Delpesche according to police information saw a shadow  and proceeded to ask who was there, in response police say two shots were fired, one struck Delpesche on the left cheek.

Upon publication of this article,  police said Delpesche was discharged from the hospital, he is said to be 24-25 years old.
