Bequia Express management apologizes after vessel drifted on Thursday

Bequia Express management has apologized to passengers affected by today’s service stoppage on the Bequia Express 5.

The vessel, which was travelling from Bequia’s Port Elizabeth to Port Kingstown at around 6:30 a.m., encountered a “mechanical issue” that caused the boat to drift at sea for some time before being towed to safety.

Several youngsters were reportedly late for their Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exam as a result of the problem.

The mechanical malfunction on the Bequia Express has been remedied, according to the firm, and it thanks impacted customers for their patience.
