BRAGSA has embarked on the reconstruction of two concrete roads on the Grenadine island of Bequia.
Construction work is being done on the Mount Pleasant road at an estimated cost of 290-thousand EC dollars.
Phase one of the project will see the repair of 556 square yards of concrete road and the construction of a 570 feet retaining wall.
Meanwhile, similar work is also being carried out in La Pompe, Bequia.
Repair work is being done on 395 square yards of the main road. In addition to the road work, a 40 feet retaining wall is being constructed.
It is being done at an estimated cost of 140-thousand EC dollars. Work on the two project is expected to be completed in September.
